WHAT WE DO!!
THE BIG COLLAB
The Big Collab Project fosters diverse, cross-genre musical partnerships. Participants work directly with professional transcribers and music arrangers to translate their digital productions into orchestral scores, carefully selecting which acoustic instruments will perform the live recording. Following the recording session, producers collaborate with the conductor, offering feedback to refine the final performance dynamics. The experience culminates in a unique opportunity to hear their original music performed live by the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) at the Highly anticipated Big Collab Event.
MUSIC AINT DIVERSE ENOUGH (M.A.D.E)
The MADE programme (Music Ain’t Diverse Enough) addresses significant disparities within the music industry. By providing targeted participatory music-making and talent development resources, MADE empowers ethnically diverse artists in the Black Country and Birmingham to close the opportunity gap through intensive music creation workshops, masterclasses, personal empowerment sessions, and key employment readiness training, helping artists build sustainable careers within music.
MAKING TRACKS (ARTISTS)
We equip eligible artists with the professional resources needed to thrive in the music industry. Through dedicated studio sessions, artists record their best work and receive bespoke Electronic Press Kits (EPKs). These tools boost their portfolio and online presence, enabling career progression and the exploration of new creative directions.
MAKING TRACKS (PRODUCERS)
Our producer development program equips eligible artists with the professional tools necessary for success. Participants receive dedicated studio time and customised Electronic Press Kits (EPKs) to immediately enhance their music portfolio and online presence, allowing them to effectively progress their careers and explore new artistic avenues.
